Rise Up’s Leadership and Advocacy Accelerator provides unparalleled opportunities to strengthen advocacy strategies, support policy systems-change, and advance gender equity in health, education, and economic opportunity for girls, women, and gender-nonconforming people at local, state, and national levels.
Rise Up Leaders will be able to apply for up to $100,000 in competitive grant funding to develop policy and advocacy strategies to advance gender equity across various social justice issues in California.

How We Work
Rise Up provides tailored support, including proposal development, grantmaking assistance, advocacy strategy guidance, networking, and ongoing professional development. Join us to expand your network, amplify your voice, and collaborate in building a global gender equity movement!
Hybrid Accelerator: Participate in a comprehensive 4-week training program with in-person and virtual sessions, totaling 60-65 training hours. This includes orientation, residential training, virtual follow-up, technical assistance, and panel sessions.
Grants: Following the Accelerator, apply for seed funding to implement a systems-change gender equity advocacy project.
Convening: Participate in a three-day in-person convening to enhance knowledge, skills, and networking.
Re-grants: Get a second chance to apply for grant funds for continuation or new projects.
