Vanessa joined Let Girls Lead as the Honduras Country Representative in 2009. In her role, Vanessa serves as the focal point for the 19 LGL Fellows in Honduras and provides technical assistance to LGL’s grantee organizations in the country. Vanessa also represents LGL in the Honduras Coalition for Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, founded by LGL Fellows in 2011. Vanessa has a Criminal Law Degree from Autonomous National University of Honduras and holds a Masters Degree in Gender and Development from Alcalá de Henares University in Spain. She is a Law Professor at the Central American University of Technology in La Ceiba.
