Ritika is a reporter at her core. As a woman journalist, she recognizes that there are challenges both within and outside the organizations she works with, and uses her voice to shine a light on these challenges and present solutions. She is a passionate advocate for social justice and gender rights, and has been awarded the prestigious UN Laadli Media Awards twice and Breakthrough Reframe Media Awards for her gender-sensitive writing and reporting.
