
Adrián Barrios Muñoz is a legal professional specializing in human rights, criminal law, and gender justice. Adrián holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Human Rights with honors from the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí (UASLP). Adrián has training in public policy, gender justice, and oral litigation techniques. Adrián currently collaborates with different organizations on regional analysis and legal support and participates in case management and legal affairs with governments and international organizations.
Adrián’s work is notable in strategic LGBTIQ+ litigation, support in gender identity processes, and representation in cases related to transfemicides. As a member of the Municipal Development Planning Council (COPLADEM) of San Luis Potosí, Adrián contributes experience in influencing local public policies. Adrián has provided training and presentations on sexual diversity, human rights, and protocols for serving LGBTQ+ individuals for municipal, state, national, and international institutions.
