Program Director, Our Mission Human and Social Impact Initiative

Zubairu is a civil society leader and the Executive Director of Our Mission Human and Social Impact Initiative, overseeing programs on gender equity, climate justice, governance, and social inclusion in Nasarawa State, Nigeria. He advances social justice by promoting girls’ education, leadership opportunities, and safe spaces while dismantling cultural and systemic barriers to equity.

Zubairu holds an MBA and is an Oxfam Climate Justice Ambassador and Fellow of the Yiaga Africa West African Community Organizing Institute. He has led initiatives such as “Her Voice, Her Future and Transforming Waste into Wealth,” empowering women and youth with leadership, entrepreneurial, and digital skills, earning recognition for fostering inclusive governance and sustainable community development across northern Nigeria.
