América Jadhay Sánchez Hernández is an architect with extensive experience in bioclimatic design, construction, and participatory processes. She specializes in integrating social and feminist perspectives into the built environment and is the founder of Deconstructoras, a project that provides technical training for women in traditionally male-dominated trades through practical, collaborative workshops. She is deeply committed to inclusive and active learning methodologies that connect technical knowledge with critical perspectives on dwelling. Her pedagogical approach integrates theory and practice, creativity, and community engagement, with the goal of training professionals who contribute to more just, livable, and caring environments.
