Block Coordinator, Vikalp Sansthan, Udaipur | India

Anita is a Block Coordinator who spreads awareness related to child marriage, domestic violence, and the importance of education and sports among adolescents and women to reclaim their spaces in the rural communities of Udaipur, Rajasthan. She has worked in tribal areas of Rajasthan to empower women and girls, and is currently leading several teams in Vikalp. Anita has experience in leading several training sessions with the people of the community and is a changemaker in the society. 

Coming from a rural community, Anita strives for a violence-free society where women and girls have independence and can take control of their own agency. Anita has a bachelor’s degree in sociology and is pursuing her master’s in sociology.
