Arantxa Viera Delfín holds degrees in Law and Political Science and is a human rights activist. She has participated in parliamentary forums, legislative dialogue, and public advocacy, contributing to the analysis and discussion of agendas related to human rights, gender, access to justice, and public policy. Her work focuses on reducing structural inequalities, ensuring effective access to rights, and incorporating restorative and therapeutic approaches into normative and legal frameworks and social processes.
She is committed to promoting social justice, equity, and education as tools for change, as well as defending health and sexual and reproductive rights. She has a particular interest in restorative and therapeutic justice as a means to repair harm, restore dignity, and build humane, inclusive, and sustainable solutions, especially for women, girls, and vulnerable populations. Currently, she works on designing and strengthening legal and community-based strategies with a focus on gender, social justice, and human rights.
