Project Title: #MyLaSexEd
#MyLaSexEd is a student-led social media storytelling campaign centered on the lived experiences of youth in Louisiana that aims to destigmatize sex education throughout the state and garner public support for legislative change. Currently, state policy requires students to receive abstinence-centered sex education in Louisiana public schools. This project will use an extensive social media campaign, with firsthand stories from a diverse set of youth from around the state, to advance support for new legislation requiring comprehensive sex education for students in all Louisiana public schools.
