Maria Lucia Escobar

Maria is the Rural Development Manager for the Association for the Well-Being of Families (APROFAM). She has a degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of San Carlos.

Miguel Angel López

Miguel is Director of the National Association for the Prevention of Child Abuse (CONACMI), which works nationally to prevent and address child abuse in Guatemala. As a consultant, he has worked on investigations related to childhood and adolescence in Guatemala. He has a degree in Psychology from the University of San Carlos and is a docent in the School of Psychology.

Ninfa Alarcón

Ninfa heads the Children’s Rights Department in the Office of Human Rights of the Archbishop of Guatemala (ODHAG). She studied Sociology at the National University of Costa Rica and has a Master’s in Primary Education from the Alfredo Carrillo Ramírez School in Guatemala. She recently received a second Master’s in Child and Adolescent Development from Raphael Landivar University.
