Hugo Higueros
Hugo is a social worker, independent consultant, and professor at Rafael Landivar University in the Faculty of Political Science and Social Work. He is also the Technical Secretary at the Reproductive Health Observatory (OSAR) in Chimalteango. He has a degree in Social Work with a concentration in development management from Rafael Landivar University.
Luisa Verónica Dávila
Luisa is Social Work Supervisor for the Guatemalan Social Security Institute’s Adolescent Pregnancy program of the IGSS Antenatal Clinic, and is a member of the Intersectoral Commission of the Guatemalan Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance. She is a graduate of San Carlos University with a degree in Social Work.

Maria has been the Let Girls Lead Guatemala Country Representative since 2011. She has extensive experience working with adolescents involved in the juvenile justice system and is a professor at Rafael Landivar University in the Faculty of Social and Political Science. Maria Lucia Escobar
Maria is the Rural Development Manager for the Association for the Well-Being of Families (APROFAM). She has a degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of San Carlos.
Miguel Angel López
Miguel is Director of the National Association for the Prevention of Child Abuse (CONACMI), which works nationally to prevent and address child abuse in Guatemala. As a consultant, he has worked on investigations related to childhood and adolescence in Guatemala. He has a degree in Psychology from the University of San Carlos and is a docent in the School of Psychology.
Ninfa Alarcón
Ninfa heads the Children’s Rights Department in the Office of Human Rights of the Archbishop of Guatemala (ODHAG). She studied Sociology at the National University of Costa Rica and has a Master’s in Primary Education from the Alfredo Carrillo Ramírez School in Guatemala. She recently received a second Master’s in Child and Adolescent Development from Raphael Landivar University.
