Gender and Governance Lead, Integrated Education for Community Empowerment (IECE)

Beatrice Kwamboka is a seasoned gender and governance expert and consultant with over 15 years of experience working with grassroots communities, civil society organizations, and governments through stakeholder engagement and policy advocacy at the international, national and local levels. Beatrice is the Gender and Governance Lead at the Integrated Education for Community Empowerment (IECE), and consults for the National Liberal Party (NLP) as the Gender Director for women and special programs. Beatrice is a lifelong human rights defender with a strong passion and commitment to promoting the rights of the marginalized in Kenya, and she is a great champion of transformative leadership. Beatrice holds a bachelor’s degree in development studies and has expertise in training, project planning and management, budget management, advocacy, coordination, partnership building, capacity building, and monitoring and evaluation.
