Beatriz is a prominent psychologist in San Luis Potosí, and the Founder and President of Entre el Sol y Una Estrella, an organization that provides comprehensive care and emotional support to families experiencing gestational, perinatal, and neonatal loss. She facilitates Bereavement Support Groups, offers counseling, and promotes prevention and awareness programs at the state, national, and international levels. A fierce advocate for women’s rights and gender equality in mental, sexual, and reproductive health, Beatriz collaborates with the Latin Perinatal Mental Health Network and the Mexican Alliance for Gestational and Perinatal Bereavement to raise awareness of the importance of women’s health during such losses. Beatriz is also an author, activist, and promoter of the “Butterfly Code” Law. With a degree in psychology, she has actively contributed to the Belisario Dominguez Institute and the Third Women’s Parliament in San Luis Potosí’s Congress.
