Global nonprofit Rise Up will select a group of visionary local leaders from India’s National Capital Region (NCR) and Delhi to participate in our Leadership Program to advance gender equity and justice in 2022. Through Rise Up’s program, these local leaders will drive transformative change in their organizations and communities, and champion improved national and local laws, programs, and funding for women, girls, and gender-nonconforming people.
Rise Up is partnering with civil society leaders with support from Cummins, Inc. to strengthen education, health, and economic opportunity for girls and women in India. The newly selected leaders in India will become part of Rise Up’s global network of leaders in Africa, South Asia, Latin America, and the United States who are creating a future where all people can thrive.
