Project Manager, Forest Code Observatory | Brazil
Camila is a project manager at Amigos da Terra, host of the Forest Code Observatory. Her career has been focused on managing and developing research on socio-environmental development, food waste and sustainable business. In leading socio-environmental projects, she saw the relationship between people and the environment – whether from the perspective of gender, human rights or diversity – as a main factor in the discussion of sustainability. Recently working in social mobilization and advocacy, she is focused on uniting forest conservation and climate issues with the promotion of gender equality, integrating these elements into engagement strategies and environmental policies. Camila has a degree in business administration, a master’s degree in socio-environmental development and a doctorate in business administration with a focus on environmental, social and corporate governance issues.
