MPA, Program and Outreach Coordinator, Innovating Education in Reproductive Health
Cassandra is a feminist, womanist activist working in sexual and reproductive health education. In her current role, she focuses on promoting patient-centered healthcare and increasing knowledge about abortion and contraception. She is passionate about protecting the rights of women and girls, emphasizing the need to uplift women and girls of color, and has fought for those rights, as well as the rights of LGBTQ+ communities around the world. She lives by the Audre Lorde quote, “I am not free while any woman is unfree, even when her shackles are very different from my own.” Cassandra is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer with a master’s degree in public affairs, concentration in international development, and a bachelor’s degree in environmental policy and planning.
