Charity is the District Chairperson for CAMFED Association in Thyolo. In her position as the District Chairperson for the past four years, she coordinates activities that help encourage girls to complete their education. She partners with other organizations in Thyolo and village heads to support the protection of girls rights and human rights. She is also a member of the Youth Parliament where she represents the voice of the youth in her district and works to resolve issues prevalent in the youth community in Thyolo. She is a strong advocate against sexual harassment in the workplace and focuses on economic empowerment as a means to prevent girls from entering early marriages.
