Founder & Project Manager, Safer-SRHR | Ethiopia
Dagmawit Workagegnehu is a Women Deliver Young Leader and recent graduate of Hawassa University College of Medicine and Health Sciences with her Doctor of Medicine. She leads sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) programs in Ethiopia and works to empower young people in reproductive health. She is a founder and project manager of Safer-SRHR, a youth-led initiative that advocates for youth leadership in SRHR and gender equality among Ethiopian youth. She designs and delivers youth and adolescent-friendly SRHR sessions and works to actively shape programs and policies that affect the rights and health of women and girls in Ethiopia. She also organizes workshops to help youth make informed decisions about their sexual and reproductive life.
