Country Coordinator, Fountain of Justice South Africa

Dr. Denise Zambezi is a human rights lawyer and feminist strategist with over eight years of experience in legal advocacy, research, and resource mobilization. She serves as Country Coordinator for Fountain of Justice South Africa, where she leads initiatives to advance access to justice, legal education, and support services for women, girls, and gender non-conforming people, particularly in marginalized communities. Denise holds a PhD in Human Rights Law from the University of Pretoria and is an alumna of the YALI Southern Africa Fellowship. Her work focuses on strengthening legal systems, advancing gender equality, and promoting human rights through collaborative, community-centered approaches.
