
Stakeholder and Engagement Associate, The Amazon Leadership Initiative
Divine Yamulamba is a remarkable researcher, author, former French lecturer, entrepreneur, podcaster and philanthropist from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. She is passionate about literature, leadership and gender empowerment. She occupies the role of Stakeholder and Engagement Associate in the Award-winning Women-led organisation called The Amazon Leadership Initiative (TheALI) and ventures her own self-publishing company, The Psalms of Keren. Divine is currently completing her PhD in Political Science at the University of Pretoria. She also serves as Programme Officer in the Youth, Gender and Women’s Empowerment Unit at AUDA-NEPAD, coordinating regional efforts to support young women leaders. Divine believes that bodily autonomy, access to care, and inclusive leadership are foundational to justice – and she works tirelessly to amplify the voices of marginalized women, girls, and gender-diverse communities across Africa and beyond.
