Dominique brings more than 12 years of experience as a human resource professional and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Practitioner. Previously, Dominique led Sierra Company, an HR/DEIB consulting firm specializing in policy, diversity and inclusion initiatives, HR best practices, and employee engagement. She graduated from Bellevue University with her bachelor’s in Management of Human Resources and later from the College of Saint Mary with her master’s in Organizational Leadership. 

As a Team Culture and Diversity Manager at Rise Up, Dominique works on initiatives to sustain a positive and inclusive team culture, operationalize the racial equity commitments, and manage human resources.

Dominique is a former Women’s Fund of Omaha’s Circles member. She is passionate about her community and serves as a Board Member for Mission Graduates, a non-profit organization increasing the number of K-12 students in San Francisco who are prepared for and complete a college education.

Dominique grew up in Colombia, called home Omaha, NE for 17 years and now resides in the Bay Area with her family. She enjoys listening to audiobooks, hiking, and traveling.
