Director of Finance & Accounting

Edith is an accomplished finance and operations leader with a proven ability to develop, organize, and standardize business processes to create efficiencies in the workplace. She has worked alongside leaders and visionaries in the conservation field to fight to protect nature and she is passionate about advancing social justice and eliminating inequality.  As the Director of Finance & Accounting, Edith oversees Rise Up Together’s operations, finances, and administration.

Before joining Rise Up Together, Edith led financial management, operations, donor stewardship functions and developed systems and processes for a conservation non-profit with a global footprint. She has extensive experience in financial management and reporting on multimillion-dollar funding arrangements with all donor types, including development agencies, corporations, foundations, individuals, and multilateral agencies. She also has experience working with in a multi-cultural and global environment, and with multi-stakeholder partnerships.

Originally from the Republic of Congo, she calls the US home. Edith holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Liberty University and an MBA from the University of Maryland Global Campus. She volunteers at various community outreach programs and enjoys baking, music, and running.
