Gender Officer, Regional Education Learning Initiative Africa

Edith Nyamwange is a gender specialist and educator advancing inclusive education across East Africa. As Gender Officer at RELI Africa, she leads the network’s gender strategy and leads the Girls’ Education Program and Community of Practice in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania. Her work addresses school-related gender-based violence, early pregnancy, and poverty through safe, supportive environments and advocacy. A trained teacher, Edith centers girls’ empowerment through intersectional approaches linking education, health, climate, and economic justice.
