Ekari has worked in CYDT for the past 5 years and currently holds the role of the Community Coordinator/Field Officer in Thyolo. As the Community Coordinator/Field Office, she interacts with girls in Thyolo by running dialogue sessions and interface meetings with young girls in the community to teach them about their sexual and reproductive health rights. As part of the CYDT team, she has helped establish youth-friendly services, teen clubs, and bylaws against child marriage in Mulange.
