Reproductive Health Advisor/Volunteer, Family Healthcare Foundation (FAHCI) | Nigeria

Esther Waryit Yonah is the reproductive health advisor for the Family Healthcare Foundation (FAHCI) and the state coordinator for the Health Reform Foundation of Nigeria Nasarawa State Chapter. Esther is a public health nurse with over 16 years of experience in development work, especially in the areas of sexual and reproductive health, adolescence and gender, family planning, maternal, neonatal and child health, advocacy, primary healthcare system reforms, community engagements, organizational development, and health system strengthening.

Esther is a MacArthur Foundation Fellow (ELDP 2007) and has worked as a consultant to many local, state, and international NGOs in areas of sexual and reproductive health, adolescent sexual and reproductive health, family planning, maternal, newborn and child health, strategic and annual operating plan development, program design and implementation, and external evaluation.
