Executive Director, Strive for Health-Rwanda | Rwanda

Dr. Evode MBABAZI is a co-founder and current executive director of Strive for Health-Rwanda, a locally driven but globally resonant initiative, working for gender equality and women’s empowerment. He is passionate about fostering comprehensive and inclusive adolescent sexual and reproductive health and rights information and services in order to uphold girls’ and women’s right to education. Evode is an MD and has been awarded the 2019 Student Projects for Health Award offered by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) and its Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER). He is an active member of international consortia, including the UN Major Group for Children and Youth (UN MGCY).
