Firehiwot is a powerful leader in the field of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). She has worked with PRO PRIDE as radio program reporter, and currently produces “Gudayachen” (Our Concern), a nationally broadcasted PMC radio program that focuses on gender issues, harmful traditional practices, and female genital cutting.
