Gabriel is the Advocacy Project Officer at Pro-Family Association (APROFAM), the IPPF affiliate in Guatemala where he monitors Guatemala’s commitments to the 2030 Agenda, especially concerning initiatives for girls and adolescents. He is an advocate of the rights of children and adolescents in his country worked on the passage of Decree 8-2015 which prohibits marriage before the age of 18. He holds a degree in Political Science from the Rafael Landivar University.
