Gabriela, known as “Gaby,” is a feminist and bike activist with over 10 years of experience. She co-directs Lúminas, Centro de Derechos Humanos A.C., a project dedicated to promoting and defending the human rights of women and girls in San Luis Potosí. At Lúminas, Gaby’s work focuses primarily on domestic workers’ rights. Gaby collaborates on research projects with the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí and CONACYT, using participatory action research methods. She also facilitates organizational processes through the lens of popular education, with interests in caregiving work, women’s defense of water and territory, and the right to the city. As a geographer, Gaby specializes in human geography, gender studies, and human rights.
