Co-Founder and Director of Public Relations, URUKUNDO Initiative | Rwanda
Giraneza Uwantege Christelle is a sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) advocate and community activist. In her current role with URUKUNDO Initiative, a youth-led social enterprise making SRHR information available through games, she is in charge of public relations and overall implementation as the co-founder. She is also currently working for a youth-led organization, Rwanda Village Community Promoters, as a volunteer and a SRHR activist. She is a passionate advocate of SRHR for girls, youth, and women and advancing social justice and equity in terms of education for girls and women in her community. Her areas of interest and expertise include SRHR, leadership, gender equality, social inclusion, and project management. Christelle is in her final year of earning a Bachelor’s degree of general medicine and surgery from the University of Rwanda.
