Gladys Miriti is a seasoned social development practitioner, organizer, designer, and manager of various integrated community development initiatives that apply advocacy as a key approach for the well-being of children, women, and youth. She leads in-country and national education and sexual and reproductive health and rights networks that advocate for the rights of young children and girls, including the Elimu Yetu Coalition’s ECD Technical team, Embu County Government Basic Education/ECCE Committee, Universal Health Coverage, and CSOs’ Advocacy Network Kenya, among others. She promotes community philanthropy and investments in girls as a key strategy for the realization of sustainable development. Her desire is to see a society that promotes the rights of girls and women for a prosperous world. Gladys holds a Master of Arts Degree in Rural Sociology and Community Development.
