Communications Coordinator

Hope is the Communications Coordinator at Rise Up Together. As a queer, BIPOC woman, Hope is energized by Rise Up’s unwavering commitment to meeting diverse cohorts of girls, women, and gender-nonconforming people where they are, building global community, and investing in innovative solutions to advance a growing movement for gender justice and equity. In her role, she works to co-create and implement Rise Up Together’s communications strategy and all external communications, website, public relations messages, and collateral to consistently articulate and support the organization’s mission and build brand awareness among key audiences, including donors.

Hope is excited to bring her 6+ years of experience bolstering the efficacy of multimillion dollar, mission-driven organizations through strategic storytelling and deep supporter engagement. Prior to joining Rise Up Together, Hope served as the Development Manager at The Andrew Goodman Foundation. She began her career on the development team at the Legal Action Center and holds a B.A. in Communication and Culture from Fordham University. Hope currently resides in Portland, Maine where she enjoys quilting, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her partner and cat, Hank.
