Hope is the Communications and Development Coordinator at Rise Up. As a queer, BIPOC woman, Hope is energized by Rise Up’s unwavering commitment to meeting diverse cohorts of girls, women, and gender-nonconforming folks where they are, building global community, and investing in innovative solutions to advance a growing movement for gender justice. In her role, she works to co-create and implement the organization’s external communications strategy and build genuine relationships with supporters. 

Hope is excited to bring her 4+ years of experience bolstering the efficacy of multimillion dollar, mission-driven organizations through fundraising and intentional storytelling. Prior to joining Rise Up, Hope was the Development Manager at The Andrew Goodman Foundation. She started her career on the development team at the Legal Action Center, and holds a B.A. in Communication and Culture from Fordham University. Hope currently resides in Portland, Maine where she likes to take walks by the ocean and spend time with her partner and cat, Hank.
