
Program Manager, Grassroot Nest for Innovation and Change
Irene Mosioma is a gender advocate and community development leader with over seven years of experience advancing early childhood education, women’s economic empowerment, and childcare policy reform. At Grassroot Nest for Innovation and Change Africa, she leads initiatives focused on strengthening childcare systems, advancing gender-transformative policies, and improving access to quality education for vulnerable children and women in Kenya. Irene holds a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education from Kenyatta University and is pursuing a Master’s in Monitoring and Evaluation at Daystar University. She is a certified ILO SIYB trainer and a Collective Rising Leadership Fellow. Her work continues to center the voices of women and girls, ensuring that no one is left behind.
