Ixchelt Cerda Oliva

President of the Commission for Attention to Women, Consejo Municipal de la Juventud de San Luis Potosí

Ixchelt Cerda Oliva is a human rights activist and a professional in Public Administration and Public Policy, with experience in the public sector and youth participation spaces. She currently serves as President of the Women’s Affairs Committee of the Consejo Municipal de la Juventud de San Luis Potosí, promoting youth advocacy and the leadership of young women at the local level. Her commitment to equity and social justice is rooted in advancing inclusive public policies that guarantee the full exercise of rights for women, girls, and people with non-conforming gender identities.

She holds diplomas in Human Rights from the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí and in Migration Public Policy from the Yes She Can Association. She is also a certified Peace Lecturer with the International Women’s Peace Group and participated in the 2025 Activations and Skills Incubator program by Girl Up Latin America.
