Jorge is a professor at the School of Humanities and Education at Monterrey Tech, focusing on technology ethics, human rights, and digital humanities. Jorge is also a practitioner and instructor of Capoeira, an Afro-Brazilian martial art. His life’s purpose is to improve people’s lives through education, especially supporting girls and teenagers to develop successful trajectories in the creative industries, thus improving the living conditions of their families and communities. Jorge holds a PhD in social sciences, a master’s degree in ethics and human rights, and a law degree. He is an expert in technology ethics, digital humanities, interculturality, research methods, data processing, and critical pedagogies.
