Josiah is a community and social development leader and Senior Advocacy, Communications, and Human Rights Officer at the Centre for Environment, Human Rights and Development. He designs and implements projects addressing gender-based violence, women’s empowerment, and social equity, benefiting communities across the Niger Delta. Josiah has over a decade of experience in media, strategic program planning, and community engagement, including hosting a six-year on-air radio program and publishing research introducing the term “Endoglossophobia.” He holds a master’s and bachelor’s in linguistics and communication studies and has received awards including Best Speaker at the Regional Emerging Leaders Forum and multiple recognitions from NYSC for his leadership and community impact.
