Jyoti is an activist and has worked in the social sector for more than 12 years. In her role at Sahyog Care For You, she leads a team committed to fighting child labor. She also handles vocational training centers in her community and with the Central Reserve Police Force, the Border Security Force, and the Delhi Police. She focuses much of her work on the rehabilitation of child sexual abuse survivors with the aim of putting a smile on every girl’s face around her. She has also created an app to report child sexual abuse cases with the help of the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. Jyoti holds an advanced diploma in information technology, a B.A. in English, political science, and psychology, a master’s degree in psychology and political science, a B.Ed, a M.Ed, and an advanced diploma in child guidance and counseling from the National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development.
