Kamala has 22 years of wide-ranging experience, including grassroots work and planning implementation, monitoring, and coordination on social and educational issues with women and children. In her current role, she engages in advocacy for the restoration of women and children’s rights in Delhi slums. She is passionate about bringing change in the lives of girls and women in marginalized communities and preventing gender-based violence through awareness and education. Kamala holds a Ph.D in geography.
