Institutional Development Manager

Kathryn Cassibry is excited to join the team and brings her seven years of experience working for international NGOs to help achieve Rise Up Together’s ambitious fundraising goals. Originally from the D.C. area, she has spent the last four years in Lisbon, Portugal, where she attended the Nova School of Business and Economics and later worked as a Partnerships and Fundraising Officer for the African women’s healthcare nonprofit, mothers2mothers. Prior to this, she worked for Chicago’s Independent Publisher’s Group as a digital marketer and in development for several D.C.-based nonprofits. 

Kathryn holds a master’s in management from Nova SBE with a focus on social entrepreneurship and impact investment and an undergraduate degree in International Relations from American University, where she specialized in Latin American development and conducted research in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Kathryn is based in South Carolina and in her free time, she loves to cook, swim, and travel.
