Lauren DaSilva

Deputy Director, Monterey County Rape Crisis Center

Lauren is a feminist. In her current role at the Monterey County Rape Crisis Center, she leads a team in the implementation of the organization’s mission to provide ongoing advocacy, support, and healing for all victims and survivors of sexual assault, human trafficking, and child abuse; and to prevent sexual violence through education. Lauren is passionate about providing the highest quality direct services to survivors while simultaneously addressing sexual violence systemically. She has a Bachelor of Arts in sociology and African and African American studies from the University of California, Davis and a Master of Public Administration from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies.
