Lea is a passionate advocate for the control of sickle cell disease in Kenya, fueled by her own experience as a sickle cell patient. She works with the NCD Alliance of Kenya where she serves as a Programme Manager. She coordinates and engages with stakeholders to develop and implement national NCD strategies, interventions, and healthcare infrastructure on sickle cell disease management within affected communities. Lea has a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business, Entrepreneurship from the United States International University – Africa, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Social Innovation Management from The Amani Institute.
