Executive Director, Brain Waves Development

Lesego is a freelance science journalist with the South African Agency for Science and Technology Advancement. She founded Brain Waves Development to demystify science and encourage more gender equity within the science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and innovation (STEMI) fields in South Africa. She is also a versatile multimedia content producer, communications consultant, and researcher with over five years of working experience focusing on education and spanning the private sector and government. Lesego is currently working on her master’s degree in sustainable development in the sciences at Walter Sisulu University in partnership with the University of Pretoria.
