Executive Director, Instituto Aleias | Brazil
Luana is the Cofounder and Executive Director of Instituto Aleias, a nonprofit organization with the mission of increasing the number of women, in all their diversity, in leadership positions within the Brazilian public sector. She believes that it is possible to change Brazil by building better public policies and a more representative democracy, with more women, Black and Indigenous people in leadership positions. She has six years of experience in the management of public policies for innovation, people management, and education (in the public sector and in the third sector), having worked with several municipalities throughout the country. Luana has a degree in international relations and is also a specialist in public management.
