Pilar has ample experience designing, managing, and executing high-impact social projects on gender equity and sexuality. She is a college professor, which allows her to teach students to have a critical and proactive approach when it comes to gender equity, sexuality, and human rights. Through Apoyare, she has empowered women in heavily marginalized areas to take ownership of their sexual and reproductive rights and make decisions for their own future. Pilar has a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
