María is an award-winning local and national journalist, who is greatly committed to reporting with a gender lens. She is currently a member of the Women Journalists Network of San Luis Potosí in Mexico. In her journalistic work, she incorporates a gender perspective to insert issues regarding women’s participation in politics and sexual education in the public agenda.
