General Director, Enfoque de Igualdad, A.C.

María Julia Moreno Díaz de León is a lawyer with a master’s degree in Human Rights and more than 15 years of experience in the defense, promotion, and teaching of human rights from a gender perspective. She currently serves as General Director of Enfoque de Igualdad, A.C., where she coordinates training, advocacy, and human rights promotion projects. Her work addresses structural inequalities affecting women and girls through education, institutional advocacy, and support for victims.

María holds a master’s degree in Human Rights with honors, has served as a postgraduate professor, and has participated as a speaker and academic jury member at national and international levels. She has contributed to specialized publications on human rights, substantive equality, and women’s rights.
