Marlo has a long history of community mobilization and advocacy work around reproductive justice and rights. A New Orleans native, Marlo has taken an active role in community organizing and advocacy at the local and state levels. Marlo plans to create a youth-led and managed hotline focusing on sex, healthy relationships, and sexual health for young people – accessible via phone or text messaging.

Plan B NOLA will provide free and by-donation EC to the greater New Orleans area through a citywide network of Community Support Members (CSMs). People will call or text the hotline, and the Reproductive Justice Action Collective’s (RJAC) Plan B NOLA will connect them with a CSM in their neighborhood who would coordinate with the caller to get them the EC, condoms, and pregnancy test.
