Martín Regis Celaya holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Gender Studies, and is a certified psychology expert. For more than 13 years, he has worked on transforming masculinities, providing psychosocial support to men and adolescents who have perpetrated violence and sexually abusive behavior. He has collaborated with civil society organizations supporting adolescents in conflict with the law and has served as a forensic psychology expert. Martín currently coordinates Municipal para la Atención y Trabajo con Hombres y Masculinidades (CEMATH), where he leads therapeutic, psychoeducational, and violence prevention interventions. His work emphasizes that engaging men is essential to preventing gender-based violence and advancing social justice, equity, and health.
