Dr/Coordinator, Healthy Life Development Initiative (HELDi)

Dr. Mfon Clement Utin is a community advocate and the coordinator of the Healthy Life Development Initiative (HELDi). She is an activist and a feminist who is deeply passionate about creating a safe environment, promoting healthy living, and advocating for the rights of women, girls, and persons with disabilities. Through advocacy, awareness creation, education, empowerment, and capacity building, she has been actively working with her target audience to effect positive change, inclusion, and equity. Dr. Mfon Utin holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry and HELDi has been recognized through her by the school community with two awards due to her passion for people’s health care. This recognition was for support, love, magnanimity, and service to healthy living, including free medical services for the student communities.
