Michael is a passionate youth leader in public policy. At Louisiana Progress, he is responsible for producing communication materials and maintaining the organization’s social media presence during legislative hearings. In 2013 and 2014, Michael helped organize the Louisiana Queer Conference, and he interned with GLSEN in Washington, D.C.  He would like to build a coalition of progressive faith leaders focused on reproductive health, reproductive justice, and LGBT issues. Michael received his bachelor’s degree in political science from Louisiana State University Honors College.
